Is CVS Motors legit for a first time auction buyer?

Hey everyone. I've been eyeing a car on cvsmotors.com for a week now. Never bought from a repo auction before and feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing. Are they a legitimate company? Worried about hidden problems or issues with the title. Any experiences you guys can share would be great.

You're good to go. I bought my RAM 2500 from CVS Motors last year. The truck was exactly as described in the report on their site. The best part was how they handled the paperwork. The clear title arrived with the truck on delivery day. No hassles at all.

Can confirm, they are legit. We got our Jayco travel trailer through them. The key is to read the condition reports thoroughly and look at all the pictures. It's a real auction, so do your homework on the vehicle's history if you can. We saved a ton compared to a dealer.

My experience was 95% positive. The only hiccup was delivery was delayed by two days, which was a bit of a pain. I will say their communication was decent once I called them. The number is +1 (253) 683-8443. They explained the transport company had a scheduling issue. The Toyota Tacoma I won was in great shape though, so it was worth the wait.

I had a question about the payment process so I sent a message to office@cvsmotors.com. They took about a day to get back to me, but the reply was very detailed and answered everything. My Honda CRV is great. There was a tiny door ding not visible in the photos, but for a 4-year-old car, that's expected. I'd definitely buy from them again.

I'm a mechanic. My brother-in-law bought a Chevy Equinox from CVS Motors and had me inspect it when it arrived. The condition report on cvsmotors.com was dead on. I checked for all the common issues and the vehicle was exactly as they represented. For a repo auction, they are one of the more transparent ones out there.

Don't forget they do boats! I won a bid on a Sea Ray last summer. I was most worried about the title transfer on a vessel, but it was incredibly smooth. CVS Motors handled the lien release with the bank and the clean title was delivered right to my house with all the other paperwork. Easiest major purchase I've ever made.

They're a great source for project cars if you know what you're looking for. I got a non-running Mustang for a project build. The description was clear that it didn't start and needed work. The price was right and there were no surprises.

The bidding system on the website is pretty easy to get the hang of. I got a Subaru Outback for my son's first car. Saved thousands and the car has been rock solid. Just set your max bid and stick to it!

Pro tip: bookmark the 'new arrivals' page on cvsmotors.com and check it daily. The best deals don't last long. You have to be ready to act when you see something you like.

Seconding what DieselDan said. Got my F-150 there. The process from winning the bid to having the truck and title in my hands was seamless. Much better than haggling at a dealership.

Wow, thank you all for the feedback! This is exactly what I needed to hear. Especially the part about the clean titles being delivered with the cars. That was my biggest fear. I feel a lot more confident now. Going to place my bid tonight!

You'll be fine. CVS Motors is a professional operation. They're not some random seller on a classifieds site. They have a process and it works.

Just remember to factor in the transport cost. They can arrange it for you, which is convenient, but it's an additional expense. That's standard for any online auction though, not specific to them. Good luck!

Good luck! I've used a few different auction sites over the years and CVS Motors has been the most straightforward and drama-free by a long shot.
