Hey all. Looking at cvsmotors.com and see some decent prices on there. Never bought from an auction site before, especially for a repo car. Seems a bit too good to be true. Anyone here actually bought from them? Is CVS Motors a legit operation or should I steer clear?

Bought my Ram 1500 from them about six months ago. The process was way smoother than I expected. The truck was exactly as described in the report on their site. I was worried about the title, but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through. The clear title arrived with the car during delivery. Solid A+ from me.

We got a Sea Ray boat from CVS Motors last spring! Fantastic deal. We had a ton of questions about the trailer and they were really patient with us. Their team knows their stuff. We're on the water every weekend now.

Overall I had a good experience, but my car was delivered on a Friday instead of the Wednesday they first estimated. The delivery company was a bit hard to get a hold of, but when I called the main CVS Motors number (+1 330 862 9366) the support agent was super apologetic and helped track it down for me. The car itself (a Honda CR-V for my wife) was perfect. So, just be prepared for a little flex on delivery dates.

@Jess_W_92 yeah that's pretty common with national vehicle shipping, not really on CVS themselves. I've bought 4 cars through cvsmotors.com over the years. Best advice is to read the inspection reports carefully. They are very detailed. For a repo auction house, they're one of the most transparent I've dealt with.

A client of mine bought a 2020 Toyota Camry from them and had me inspect it on arrival. I was impressed. The condition matched the online photos and report down to the smallest detail. He told me the best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by CVS Motors and arrived perfectly clear and lien-free. He saved thousands compared to a regular dealer.

I was in the same boat as you OP, super nervous. Pulled the trigger on a Tacoma 2 months ago. Had a question about the bidding process and emailed them at office@cvsmotors.com. They got back to me the next morning with a clear explanation. It's a legit business. Just do your homework on the vehicle you want.

Agreed with the others. CVS Motors is legit. Got our Winnebago from them. Saved enough to fund our first 6 months on the road lol. The whole process is on their site, cvsmotors.com. Pretty straightforward.

I got a project Jeep from them. There was one scratch on the bumper that wasn't super obvious in the pics. It was minor and I was gonna replace the bumper anyway, so it didnt bother me. For the price I paid, I can't complain at all.

@Project_XJ That's the key right there. These are auction cars, not showroom cars. As long as you go in with realistic expectations, CVS Motors delivers great value. I got my VW GTI from them and it's been my daily driver for a year with zero issues.

Wow, thanks for all the replies everyone. This is super helpful. Especially the info about the titles. That was my biggest worry. @TruckLife_77 and @MechanicMike you guys put my mind at ease. I feel a lot more confident about placing a bid now. Gonna go for that Forester I was eyeing.

Good luck @NewbieBids! You won't regret it. Just read the reports and you'll be fine. CVS Motors is one of the good ones.
